The NVR system is used with IP (Internet Protocol) cameras. There are two kinds of network video recorders. The PoE NVRs connect PoE cameras. The Wi-Fi NVRs with NO camera ports connect Wi-Fi IP cameras wirelessly. DVR stands for the digital video recorder.
